1. Arrival by car and parking

You can park your car comfortably in the free parking spaces at the valley station of the Feuerkogel cable car. Please note: The cabins at Feuerkogel are accessible only by cable car – direct access by car is not possible.

Routes from the main cities:

  • Vienna: 250 km – via A1 toward Salzburg → exit Regau → Gmunden → Ebensee

  • Linz: 80 km – from the airport → A1 toward Salzburg → exit Regau → Gmunden → Ebensee

  • Salzburg: 80 km – from the airport → A1 toward Linz → exit Regau → Gmunden → Ebensee

  • Munich: 215 km – via Munich → Salzburg → A1 toward Linz → exit Regau → Gmunden → Ebensee

  • Graz: 200 km – Graz → Leoben → Liezen → Bad Ischl → Ebensee

2. Gondola ride to the mountain station

From the valley station, the gondola takes you in just about 10 minutes directly to the mountain station at an altitude of 1,600 m.

  • Summer & winter: daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Winter special hours: on the hour and half-hour, continuously if needed

Please plan your arrival so that you can catch the gondola in time.. The cabins are accessible only by gondola – parking at the valley station is therefore mandatory.

3. Route from the mountain station to the cabins

The cabins are only 5 minutes on foot uphill from the gondola mountain station.

  • Luggage transport: If you do not want to carry your luggage yourself, you can arrange a paid transport (approx. €30 per trip in winter) from the mountain station to your cabin.

  • Cabin and key handover: At the mountain station, you will receive the keys and can clarify any final questions.
