In winter, you can start your skiing adventure directly from the chalet – Ski-in/Ski-out is a reality here! The Loser Ski Arena Altaussee, with 33 varied kilometers of slopes, is right at your doorstep. Modern lifts, perfectly groomed runs, a fun park, and ski schools make the ski area the ideal destination for beginners, families, and experts alike.
In summer, the Loser transforms into a paradise for hikers, climbers, and nature lovers. Numerous hiking trails, climbing routes, and mountain biking paths start right at the chalets. The idyllic Altaussee Lake, perfect for swimming, sailing, or stand-up paddling, is just a few minutes away.
Our chalets offer, over approximately 122 m² of living space, accommodating up to 12 people – perfect for Family holidays, group trips, or weekends with friends.

Our Chalets Altaussee – Ski & Hiking are perfectly equipped for self-catering. Those who prefer to be pampered will find cozy restaurants in the immediate vicinity, such as the Alpen Stub’n, the Blaa Alm and the Loser Hütte – all offering regional specialties from the Ausseerland.
Besides skiing, hiking and swimming you can enjoy numerous recreational activities: the Loser Outdoor Climbing Park, which Loser Panorama Road, and beautiful walks around the Augstsee or mountain biking tours through the Salzkammergut. The cozy living room on the first floor invites you to relax and unwind. In the fully equipped kitchen, culinary delights can be prepared with ease, making shared cooking evenings a pleasure. The comfortable sofa area is the perfect place to relax after an eventful day in the mountains. On the balcony overlooking the Loser, you can start your morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
The chalet offers sleeping accommodations for up to twelve people, spread across three cozy bedrooms. Each room features spacious wardrobes, providing ample storage for personal belongings. Blackout blinds ensure undisturbed rest, while the fresh mountain air guarantees a particularly pleasant sleep.
Two modern bathrooms with toilets provide ample comfort and privacy for all guests. They are located on the first and second floors of the chalet and offer everything needed for a pleasant stay. The sauna is directly accessible from the lower bathroom and invites you to relax after an active day in the mountains. A door leads from the sauna directly outside – perfect for cooling off in the fresh mountain air or snow after a sauna session. Fresh towels are, of course, provided for all guests.
