Arrival and accessibility of the huts at Feuerkogel

The cabins at Feuerkogel are easily accessible and offer a perfect combination of mountain vacation and alpine hut fun.

  • Car & parking: Free parking is available at the valley station of the cable car.

  • Cable car ride: The cable car ride to the mountain station takes approximately 10 minutes.

  • Walk to the huts: From the mountain station, it’s only about a 3-minute walk.

  • Luggage transport: On request, your luggage can be transported from the cable car mountain station to the huts.

  • Summer & winter: daily from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Winter special hours: The cable car runs on the hour and half-hour, continuously if needed.

  • Lifts in winter: from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

How do I get to my hut on Feuerkogel?

Our self-catering huts at Feuerkogel are accessible exclusively by cable car. Park your car conveniently in one of the free parking spaces at the valley station. Afterwards, you can load your luggage into the designated luggage carts. The friendly cable car staff will transport your luggage free of charge to the mountain stationso you can start your vacation relaxed.

Please note that for the ride the cable car ticket at the ticket office of the valley station must be purchased. This way, you can reach your hut comfortably and stress-free – right in the idyllic mountain landscape of Feuerkogel.

Please note: Apart from the cable car, Feuerkogel is only accessible on foot or by mountain bike.c. Therefore, plan your arrival accordingly so that you can reach your hut village relaxed and safely.

The hut village at Feuerkogel is located about 300 meters uphill from the cable car mountain station. Guests who want a luggage transport have booked luggage transport (winter price: €30 per trip, from the mountain station to the hut or vice versa) are met directly at the cable car exit by the hut manager.

Your luggage is safely loaded onto a trailer and conveniently transported to your hut. At the same time, the hut and/or key handover, and the manager answers any remaining questions so that your stay can start stress-free.

The key to your rented hut in the hut village at Feuerkogel is provided directly by our service team. Please contact us as soon as you reach the cable car valley station so that we can coordinate the handover.

The huts in hut village at Feuerkogel are ready for check-in on the day of arrival from 3:00 PM until no later than 4:30 PM. Earlier arrival times are possible by prior arrangement. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the hut broom-clean by 10:00 AM. A Late Checkout Can be arranged on request.

To ensure a smooth check-in, please let us know your estimated arrival time. a few days before your arrival so that we can ensure your cabin is ready and everything is prepared for your stay.

Yes, a cabin vacation with a dog is easily possible with us. All of our chalets are dog-friendly and offer plenty of space, direct access to nature, and ideal conditions for walks and relaxing days with your four-legged companion.

The cabins in the hut village at Feuerkogel are fully equipped and offer space for up to 10 adults and 2 children on approximately 150 m² of living space. Each cabin features:
  • Bedrooms: 4 double rooms, 1 quadruple room (with 2 bunk beds)

  • Sanitary facilities: 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets

  • Living area: large lounge with Swedish stove, satellite TV, Wi‑Fi

  • Kitchen: Kitchen unit with oven, electric stove, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer

Yes, a Ski rental at Feuerkogel is directly near the cabins at Feuerkogel available. Skis, snowboards, and other fun equipment can be at the Ski & Snowboard School Rental & Service Neuhuber, which is located in the basement of the mountain station, can be rented.

In addition, the Neuhuber Ski School offers ski and snowboard courses as well as guided ski tours They offer. For the little guests, there is also a kite park, which is specially designed for children.
